EXTRA LONG BASMATI RICE – NATURALLY, AGED AROMATIC GRAIN
Long-grained rice refers to Asian varieties with long, slender grains. Long-grain rice has a size that is three to five times its width. The best-known type is the intensely aromatic Basmati, traditionally produced in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is slim, with a refined curve, and can triple in length when cooked. Basmati is grown, sourced, and processed, keeping in mind the natural taste of the rice. The long-grained rice is GMO-free, GLUTEN-free, BPA-free, and VEGAN.
Basmati naturally comes as a dry, separate grain. Upon cooking, the texture becomes tender but stays
well without splitting, and it is non-sticky. The rice elongates twice upon cooking but does not fatten much. The aroma is also significant.
Agro-climatic circumstances of the specific geographical area with the method of harvesting, processing, and aging attribute these distinctive features to Basmati rice. Owing to its unique characteristic, the ‘scented Pearl’ lends a touch of class that can transform even the most ordinary meal into a gourmet delight.
India is not only known for its rich cultural heritage but also as the homeland of basmati rice. The long-grained rice is farmed in the nutrient-rich soil of the Himalayas and brought to you from the Kiara family.
The distinctive two years aging process makes every bite a savory experience that is enjoyed by everyone at the dinner table.
