Is Kiara actually different from other basmati rice?: We could give you a 14-point answer. Or you could cook it.
How long is the grain?: Long enough to have its own personality. Short enough to fit in the bag.
Can I mess it up?: Of course. We believe in you.
What if I don’t know how to cook?: Excellent. Neither did anyone until they did. Water. Rice. Heat. Confidence.
Is rice a side dish?: That sounds like something a side dish would say.
Why is it called the Chef’s Secret if you’ve put it on the bag?: Marketing got involved.
Does Kiara work with curry?: Yes. Also kebabs, stir-fries, biryani, leftovers, questionable 2 a.m. decisions and whatever is currently dying in your fridge.
Can I eat it every day?: That’s sort of the whole plot.
Does it taste better when a chef throws it dramatically in a pan?: Scientifically unproven. Visually undeniable.
Where does Kiara come from?: India. Farms → mill → bag → shelf → your kitchen. There were several emails in between.
Why is the bag maroon?: Rice had enough of beige.
Is Kiara premium?: Yes. We just don’t enjoy saying “premium” every six sentences.
Can I serve it when people come over?: Absolutely. Take all the credit. Kiara isn’t going to correct them.
What if my mother says her rice is better?: Your mother is right. We’re not getting involved in this.
Is this the last question?: It was.
Wait, where can I buy it?: Damn it.
